Le riunioni
del gruppo AC San Clemente in presenza, in parrocchia sono state di nuovo
sospese, in attesa di una evoluzione favorevole della pandemia da Covid 19, che
attualmente si sta aggravando.
Nell scorso mese di novembre ci siamo riuniti in
videoconferenza Google Meet il 14, il 21 e il 28: gli incontri sono andati
molto bene, sono stati molto partecipati e produttivi. Su questo blog e nella Lettera ai soci di dicembre ne è stato inserito il resconto.
Alcuni dei soci anziani non sono ancora
riusciti a collegarsi, ma cercheremo di aiutarli a farlo nelle prossime riunioni.
In questo mese di
dicembre terremo riunioni del
gruppo in videoconferenza Google Meet
il 12 dicembre, alle ore 16:45, nella quale seguiremo il cammino cristologico proposto dal
sussidio del Settore Adulti “Da corpo a corpo”, articolato su cinque
aree tematiche, e il 19 dicembre, alle
ore 16:45, nella quale continueremo la riflessione sull’enciclica Fratelli tutti, di papa Francesco, pubblicata lo scorso 3
ottobre.
Abbiamo deciso di far iniziare le riunioni un po’ prima per consentire a
chi lo desidera di partecipare alla messa vespertina delle ore 18:00 in
parrocchia.
Le persone interessate potranno accedere alla videoconferenza mediante
un link o un codice.
I soci del gruppo hanno già ricevuto via email
la comunicazione dei link e dei codici di accesso, che sono contenuti anche
nella Lettera ai soci che mercoledì sarà inviata per posta ordinaria ai soci che non
risultano presenti nella mailing list del gruppo. Sono stati inviati anche
mediante Whatsapp. Saranno nuovamente inviati via email e Wathsapp in
prossimità degli incontri.

Si fa festa incontrandosi, ma la raccomandazione del
distanziamento ce lo sconsiglia. Tuttavia nel ciclo delle festività natalizie,
che inizia la Vigilia di Natale e termina con la celebrazione del Battesimo del
Signore, si incontra Cristo: e questo non ci potrà mai essere tolto, come è
scritto.

Meet sono stati feste dell’incontro tra noi e con Cristo, perché, quando

The meetings of the AC San
Clemente group in the parish have been suspended again, pending a favorable
evolution of the Covid 19 pandemic, which is currently worsening.
Last November we gathered in
Google Meet videoconference on the 14th, 21st and 28th: the meetings went very
well, they were very participatory and productive. The report has been included
on this blog and in the Letter to the shareholders of December.
Some of the senior members have
not yet been able to connect, but we will try to help them do so in upcoming
meetings.
In this month of December we

35. […] Come i
sacramenti della nuova legge, alimento della vita e dell'apostolato dei fedeli,
prefigurano un cielo nuovo e una nuova terra (cfr. Ap 21,1), così i laici
diventano araldi efficaci della fede in ciò che si spera (cfr. Eb 11,1), se
senza incertezze congiungono a una vita di fede la professione di questa stessa
fede. Questa evangelizzazione o annunzio di Cristo fatto con la testimonianza
della vita e con la parola acquista una certa nota specifica e una particolare
efficacia dal fatto che viene compiuta nelle comuni condizioni del secolo.
In questo ordine di
funzioni appare di grande valore quello stato di vita che è santificato da uno

Una cosa non dovete
perdere di vista, carissimi: davanti al Signore un solo giorno è come mille anni
e mille anni come un solo giorno.
Il Signore non ritarda nel
compiere la sua promessa, anche se alcuni parlano di lentezza. Egli invece è
magnanimo con voi, perché non vuole che alcuno si perda, ma che tutti abbiano
modo di pentirsi.
Il giorno del Signore verrà
come un ladro; allora i cieli spariranno in un grande boato, gli elementi,
consumati dal calore, si dissolveranno e la terra, con tutte le sue opere, sarà
distrutta.
Dato che tutte queste cose dovranno finire in
questo modo, quale deve essere la vostra vita nella santità della condotta e
nelle preghiere, mentre aspettate e affrettate la venuta del giorno di Dio, nel
quale i cieli in fiamme si dissolveranno e gli elementi incendiati fonderanno!
Noi infatti, secondo la sua
promessa, aspettiamo nuovi cieli e una terra nuova, nei quali abita la

Come sta scritto nel profeta
Isaìa: «Ecco, dinanzi a te io mando il mio messaggero: egli preparerà la tua
via. Voce di uno che grida nel deserto: Preparate la via del Signore,
raddrizzate i suoi sentieri», vi fu Giovanni, che battezzava nel deserto e proclamava
un battesimo di conversione per il perdono dei peccati. Accorrevano a lui tutta
la regione della Giudea e tutti gli abitanti di Gerusalemme. E si facevano
battezzare da lui nel fiume Giordano, confessando i loro peccati.
Giovanni era vestito di peli di
cammello, con una cintura di pelle attorno ai fianchi, e mangiava cavallette e
miele selvatico. E proclamava: «Viene dopo di me colui che è più forte di me:
io non sono degno di chinarmi per slegare i lacci dei suoi sandali. Io vi ho
battezzato con acqua, ma egli vi battezzerà in Spirito Santo».

Nel
Tempo di Avvento le letture bibliche sono scelte per prepararci all’incontro
con una persona forte e potente che arriva. Quelle di quest’oggi ci propongono
le esortazioni del profeta Isaia e di Giovanni il Battista.
Occorre prepararci a quell’incontro,
all’incontro con l’amore del
Signore che salva. Bisogna togliere tutto ciò che in noi può ostacolarlo.
Questo il senso cristiano della conversione.
In quell’incontro ci verrà donato lo Spirito e potremo amare come il
Signore vuole.
La messa domenicale, con l’Eucaristia, è una delle occasioni in cui lo
possiamo ricevere, così come anche negli altri Sacramenti.
In the Season of Advent, the
biblical readings are chosen to prepare us for the encounter with a strong and
powerful person who arrives. Those of today offer us the exhortations of the
prophet Isaiah and John the Baptist.
We need to prepare ourselves for
that encounter, for the encounter with the love of the Lord who saves. We need
to remove everything in us that can hinder it. This is the Christian meaning of
conversion.
In that meeting the Spirit will
be given to us and we will be able to love as the Lord wants.
Sunday Mass, with the Eucharist,
is one of the occasions in which we can receive it, as well as in the other
sacraments.
