Dimensioni locali – relazioni autentiche
Tutte le volte che riscontro visualizzazioni
troppo numerose, sospendo la pubblicazione di contenuti su questo blog. Questo
produce una riduzione degli accessi, perché le reti sociali sul Web sono molto
legate all’attualità e al presente: è uno dei loro principali limiti.
Rimane sempre molto da leggere, ma, in genere,
se non si riscontra che il blog è aggiornato costantemente, si perde interesse
a tutto.
Questo blog è destinato a una dimensione
locale e si propone di suscitare relazioni umane autentiche, e quelle solo
telematiche, sulle reti sociali, non lo sono.
Direi di più. L’ambiente sociale a cui mi rivolgo
è l’Europa. Si tratta di una società che si è fatta profondamente diversa da
altri modelli collettivi creati dagli europei in giro per il mondo o che alla
vita degli europei ancora si ispirano.
La diversità è rilevantissima rispetto alla
società statunitense, alla quale gran parte dell’Asia mi sembra ispirarsi e anche parte dell’America Latina. Gran parte dell’Africa mi sembra molto più
vicina a noi.
All’interno dell’Europa vi sono poi
differenze sensibilissime tra quelle parti che dagli anni ’90 uscirono dai
regimi comunisti di impronta bolscevica e il resto. La questione sulla quale le
rispettive culture divergono maggiormente è quella della pace, che è un valore fondamentale per il europei occidentali
e non così per quelli orientali.
I turisti che dall’Oriente ci vengono a
visitare si rendono conto immediatamente di ciò a cui mi riferisco.
L’Unione Europa contemporanea è stata
promossa dalla collaborazione di tre culture politiche che nei secoli passati
si erano aspramente combattute: quella francese, quella tedesca e quella
italiana. Le ultime due sorrette da una fortissima iniziativa dei cristiano-democratici.
Negli ultimi dieci anni l’Italia, pervasa da rapidi processi rivoluzionari, pur
se all’interno di una cornice istituzionale democratica, si è un po’ posta ai
margini del processo di unificazione europea. Da noi ai è preso a riferirsi all’
“Europa” come ad un’entità politica esterna che ci chiede delle cose e a cui ne chiediamo altre.
E’ meno diffusa la consapevolezza del ruolo determinante che l’Italia ha avuto,
dal secondo dopoguerra, nella costruzione dell’unificazione continentale europea.
Dal punto di vista religioso le affinità
maggiori le noto tra l’Italia e la Germania. Si tratta di una religiosità che
ha caratteristiche diverse da quella di altre regioni europee, con una
caratterizzazione molto più politica.
Mi pare che l’Asia e gran parte dell’America
latina guardino essenzialmente al modello statunitense, ad esempio nel modo di
costruire le città. Viste con gli occhi di una persona che vive a Roma, quel
modello appare un vero inferno sociale. Invece in Asia mi pare si gareggi nell’imitarlo.
Anche nel Vicino Oriente è così.
La società statunitense è un aggregato che,
visto con gli occhi di un italiano, appare estremamente violento. Ho letto che,
invece, negli Stati Uniti si pensa che l’Italia sia un paese violento, un po’ come certi posti in
Centro America. I due mondi hanno una visione stereotipata l’uno dell’altro. Le
persone che mi pare capiscano meglio la vita degli Europei sono gli africani,
che non cercano tra noi, ad esempio, quello che gli Stati Uniti d’America riservano
agli afroamericani.
L’egemonia statunitense è molto sensibile in
Italia, che, dalla fine della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, è sostanzialmente ancora
uno stato sotto occupazione militare statunitense, anche se ora è integrata con
gli Stati Uniti nell’alleanza politico militare del Trattato del Nord Atlantico
– NATO. Tuttavia gli italiani sono riusciti finora a mantenere il loro
particolare tipo di vita sociale, integrandosi sempre di più con gli altri europei
nell’Unione Europea. Questo ha consentito, finora, di mantenere la pace continentale.
Con la guerra in Ucraina la situazione sta rapidamente cambiando. La pressione
degli Stati Uniti d’America per un intervento militare sempre più massiccio in
quella regione si fa sentire e sul corso degli eventi sembrano poter far poco
gli stati dell’Unione europea. Sull’altro campo, la Federazione russa, un
grande conglomerato sociale euro-asiatico sta rapidamente staccandosi dagli
altri europei, in particolare da quando, volendo riprendere una politica di
superpotenza, il suo governo ha ordinato l’invasione dell’Ucraina. Evidenzio
che, invece, l’Unione Europea è stata costruita proprio per non replicare quel
tipo di politica internazionale.
Che cosa può trovare di utile in questo blog
una persona che vive in altri continenti? Non so.
Come scrivo sempre, i contenuti che ho pubblicato
possono servire a chi vive in un contesto molto particolare, quello del
quartiere Monte Sacro – Valli della città di Roma sulle rive dell’Aniene. Questo
blog nasce per l’animazione sociale in questo microcosmo. E’ qui che possono
nascere relazioni umane autentiche che mi propongo di promuovere, quelle faccia
a faccia, quelle che danno senso alla vita.
Ai lettori lontani tengo a dire questo: se
non pensate di andare oltre la semplice lettura dei contenuti pubblicati su
questo blog, se, ad esempio, non pensate di accostarvi ad una parrocchia,
perdete il vostro tempo leggendo.

Local dimensions – authentic
relationships
Whenever I find too many views, I suspend
the publication of contents on this blog. This produces a reduction in accesses,
because social networks on the Web are closely linked to current events and the
present: it is one of their main limitations.
There
is always a lot to read, but generally, if you don't find that the blog is
constantly updated, you lose interest in everything.
This blog is intended for a local dimension
and aims to arouse authentic human relationships, and only telematic ones, on
social networks, are not.
I would say more. The social environment to
which I address is Europe. It is a society that has become profoundly different
from other collective models created by Europeans around the world or which are
still inspired by the life of Europeans.
Diversity is very relevant with respect to
US society, which seems to me to inspire a large part of Asia and also part of
Latin America. Much of Africa seems much closer to us.
Within Europe there are also very sensitive
differences between those parts that emerged from the communist regimes of
Bolshevik imprint from the 1990s and the rest. The issue on which the
respective cultures diverge most is that of peace, which is a fundamental value
for Western Europeans and not so for Eastern ones.
Tourists who come to visit us from the East
immediately realize what I am referring to.
The contemporary European Union has been
promoted by the collaboration of three political cultures which in past
centuries had bitterly fought each other: the French, the German and the
Italian. The last two supported by a very strong initiative by the Christian
Democrats. In the last ten years Italy, pervaded by rapid revolutionary
processes, albeit within a democratic institutional framework, has placed
itself somewhat on the sidelines of the process of European unification. Da noi
ai is taken to refer to "Europe" as an external political entity that
asks us for things and from which we ask others. Awareness of the decisive role
that Italy has had, since the Second World War, in the construction of European
continental unification is less widespread.
From a religious point of view, the
greatest affinities I notice are between Italy and Germany. It is a religiosity
that has different characteristics from that of other European regions, with a
much more political characterization.
It seems to me that Asia and a large part of
Latin America look essentially to the US model, for example in the way of
building cities. Seen through the eyes of a person who lives in Rome, that
model looks like a real social hell. Instead in Asia it seems to me that they
compete in imitating him. This is also the case in the Near East.
US society is an aggregate which, seen
through the eyes of an Italian, appears extremely violent. I read that, on the
other hand, in the United States Italy is thought to be a violent country, a
bit like some places in Central America. The two worlds have a stereotypical
view of each other. It seems to me that the people who understand European life
best are Africans, who do not seek among us, for example, what the United
States of America reserves for African Americans.
US hegemony is very sensitive in Italy,
which, since the end of the Second World War, is essentially still a state under
US military occupation, even if it is now integrated with the US in the
military-political alliance of the North Atlantic Treaty - NATO . However,
Italians have so far managed to maintain their particular type of social life,
integrating more and more with other Europeans in the European Union. This has
allowed, up to now, to maintain continental peace. With the war in Ukraine the
situation is rapidly changing. The pressure of the United States of America for
an increasingly massive military intervention in that region is being felt and
the states of the European Union seem to be able to do little about the course
of events. On the other side, the Russian Federation, a large Euro-Asian social
conglomerate is rapidly breaking away from other Europeans, especially since,
wanting to resume a superpower policy, its government ordered the invasion of
Ukraine. I would like to point out that, on the other hand, the European Union
was built precisely not to replicate that type of international policy.
What can a person living in other continents
find useful in this blog? I don't know.
As I always write, the contents I have
published can be of use to those who live in a very particular context, that of
the Monte Sacro – Valli district of the city of Rome on the banks of the
Aniene. This blog was born for social animation in this microcosm. It is here
that authentic human relationships can arise that I propose to promote, those
face to face, those that give meaning to life.
I want to say this to distant readers: if
you don't think of going beyond the simple reading of the contents published on
this blog, if, for example, you don't think of approaching a parish, waste your
time reading.
